I think he should have. I'll admit I'll need a good deal of metaing for explaining why he doesn't seem to care right now (though my answer would be that the writers feel like they covered the Charlie issue with episode 1 and so they are allowed to disregard it, with which I do NOT agree), but I want to see what happens in part #2 before definitely saying he doesn't care. With all the screen time they gave him until now (apart from The Constant where, well, you know) they really haven't covered it. I'll wait until the 29th, but my answer would be that the writers are being careless.

Yes, the son of a bitch makes it less creepy, but well, I hate future Kate with you. I actually felt for her when they got out the helicopter, but ended right there. That make up thing just... blah. And the trial confuses the hell, the hell out of me.
You won't have to wait much for that. It's not often that I'm in the mood for happy Sayid het and before they crush it for me next time (because they will crush it) I need to go with the flow. And hurry before it disappears.
