Charlies and Boones deaths might have been cruel and meaningless but at least the characters themselves went out with grace and honour. They were the only two deaths that seemed to move viewers, rather than shock them.
At least we have that. And also Shannon, to some extent maybe. But if my favorite character had been, let's say, Ana Lucia.... *shivers* at least they got a good exit. Small consolations *headdesk* *sighs*.
