Oh man, I can't give you my generic response to all things Firefly like I usually comment when people talk about it because you haven't seen it. Once you watch the movie, then I'll be able to say it and you'll understand, lol. Although maybe at this point you're spoiled for it, I know I was pretty well aware of what happened when I watched it 2 years ago or whenever. Actually... you may have seen it on Twitter yesterday, I know I mentioned it. ... and in my journal yesterday, lol. Hopefully I didnt spoil you if you read it.
Anyway. FIREFLY ♥ I love love love love every character on the show as well! My favorites are River and Wash. And Jayne. You haven't seen Jaynestown yet, have you? I don't remember the episode order, but he's just so great in that one, I didn't necessarily warm up to him originally either (except that I was already a fan of Adam Baldwin).
Oh man, I'm so like :D :D :D whenever I think about Firefly. I thought about watching some last night, but then I knew I'd wanna watch Serenity and then I'd be like ;_____; from the aforementioned "thing I always mention."
I don't think this comment makes much sense, but in conclusion, I love those big damn heroes.
P.s. it's really exciting when you watch it and see all these terms that have been floating around fandom so long that they're not even mentioned in the context of Firefly. When Jayne says "I'll be in my bunk," it was like a fucking A-HA lightbulb going off in my head, lol. And "big damn heroes," and of course "also, I can kill you with my brain."
