janie_tangerineFirst: sorry for not answering to comments - I have 14000 words to go for my bigbang story which I started re-writing like three times in three different fics but this one will stick - and so expect answers sometime tomorrow. I'm not ignoring you. I just need to get this thing out before midnight tomorrow. XD
That said: I can't not react at this. It will be mostly incoherent and on the short side, but still I need to express my feelings.
1. Okay, first thing out of the way: I love Cas's arc this season. There, said it, don't kill me. Also, if it seems like he's gone dark side, he hasn't. Have a look at next week's promo, then we can talk about it. Also: he's still my favorite character and he'll stay that. Also: MISHA COLLINS YOU CAN ACT. THE WAY HE LOOKED WHEN HE WAITED FOR DEAN AND SAM TO COME BACK. THE UNBELIEVABLE. WHEN HE SAID HIS FEELINGS WERE HURT. THE BURNING INSIDE HIM. HOW HE CRAPPILY LIED AT THE END. OH CAS. OH YOU. WHAT ARE YOU DOING, WHAT ARE YOU DOING.
2. That stated, he's just being the third honorary Winchester here. I mean, Sam and Dean both did a lot of crappy things for good reasons (or so they thought) and Cas here is trying not to bring another Apocalypse around - if he's doing it in crappy ways, well, he's not the first to do it. I'm not really wanting to believe that they'll actually turn him evil - he wouldn't have done that in S4, I doubt he'll do that now. Also it totally makes sense with what happened in the Titanic episode - he was lying when he said that it was Balthazar's gig with unsinking the ship, but he wasn't lying when he said he wanted them to remember what he's doing this for. OH CASTIEL ;____; YOU SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED FALLEN. I don't know if he's making me more sad right now or if f!Castiel made me sadder. Oh dear I like angsty characters don't I.
3. THAT STATED ALL THE DEAN/CAS WAS GLORIOUS AND I'M TOTALLY AFRAID THAT IT MEANS THAT NEXT EPISODE I'LL CRY, but then again... well. I don't think that Dean will like much what's happening (though I was endeared that he didn't even think once that Cas might have lied about Crowley - AWWW MY SHIP) and he'll be pissed at first round but... I really need to think that he'd come around. I know he'll forgive Sam everything and not so much the rest of the world, but I just hope they do come around. Maybe in the finale? Maybe. AAAAH SHOW.

I can't say I'm sorry you're back. I like you, as a villain. I've always liked you. I still like you. And I can't help wondering what's got him to work with Cas - I refuse to think it's a Ruby & Sam situation and that he's tricking Cas into something, I highly doubt that Cas is such an idiot. I guess it's because of the souls in purgatory, hhhhmmm.
5. This whole thing just strengthens my theory that Cas wants to juice himself up on souls in order to obliterate Raphael. I'm highly doubting it'd come to that, but.
6. That said, SAM YOU WERE PARTICULARLY ADORABLE. I LIKE.
7. DEAN BETWEEN THIS EP AND THE LAST ONE I JUST WANT TO MARRY YOU. JEFFERSON STARSHIP. JEFFERSON STARSHIP. EXCUSE ME WHILE I LAUGH LIKE A MANIAC AND CONGRATULATE HIM ON THE BEST NAME EVER LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. And when he got the mother of all to bite him - DEAN YOU WERE FANTASTIC. I KNEW YOU WERE GONNA DO IT AND - I LOVE YOU. REALLY. Also Jensen's been looking good lately. huuuuh. *drools*
8. Oh Bobby. I love his face. And I love that he was being all sympathy with Cas. I love the two of them having scenes. Also I like that finally someone actually DID realize Cas is lying. Considering how bad he is at it, it was high time.
9. Mother of all, I won't miss you. Also I'm sure Dean and Sam didn't approve of her wearing Mary's face, but at least Samantha Smith was way better than the virgin!girl or whatevs.
10. Dean and Cas going together to the doctor's place - oh my heart, sure, remind me of 5x03 and make me go ;____________; all over again won't you.
11. In short: I need next week to be there now and someone to watch it with me/to clutch at because I won't survive it. Also I need fic where Dean, Sam and Balthazar close Cas down in the panic room, talk sense into him and it ends with group hug at worst and orgy at best. Yeah, yeah, right, wishful thinking. (Also I'd like to know Balthy's degree of involvement but I'm pretty sure he has to know stuff. Oooh angel storyline if only they spent more time on you this season, but that's okay, with how these last episodes have been.)
