1. Okay, off my chest the one thing I didn't like: BONNIE NEEDS TO BE BACK STAT. END OF STORY.
That said.
2. OMG WTF JDSHFJDHFAJSHFKJDHFJKSDGFKHGDS I THINK THAT OF ALL THE OPENING EPS IT WAS MY FAVORITE. JDGHKJSDFGHKJDGFKS.
3. Dear writers: you successfully managed to make Damon look well-adjusted in comparison to Stefan, which is a feat in itself, but you also managed not to de-humanize Stefan completely, and idk how you did it but I bow. I, uuuhm, have ambivalent feelings re ripper!Stefan (IE: awesome storyline, makes him more interesting, but.. Stefan ;_______;) but they're doing it so well. And uungh when he and Damon met at the TV studio. That, uuuuh, THAT WAS INTENSE.
4. Also: was Stefan killing Andie also a way to tell Damon 'way to fuck up with people'? Because if it was... ugh. Well, at least this time he didn't go killing people in highways in order to deal with his baggage...
5. Hi, I'm Janie and I ship Stefan/Elena. Like, I was sure they'd make me realize it was hopeless and then there was that scene at the end of the episode and I about cried and then I was like 'fine I cave in'. Also, I'm sort of seeing the point of Damon/Elena but if it happens it won't be nice for more than five minutes. Him giving her the necklace (that Alaric had found? lololol) was lovely.
6. ALARIC, LET ME HUG YOU. First: it's obvious that you drink too much since no one in their sane mind would wear that kind of pink shirt. But... THAT ENDING. He should have stayed but I like that he's totally not in a right place mentally. Considering everything that went down... and I love that the only person he talks to about it is Damon.
6b. ALSO THEY GO SEARCHING FOR THE BODIES STEFAN LEAVES BEHIND TOGETHER AND THEY FIND WEREWOLVES LAIRS TOGETHER AND BURN SHIT TOGETHER AND OMG YES THEY'RE MY FAVORITE THING AND I MISSED THEM.
I MEAN LOOK AT THEM :DDDD
7. Also: Tyler/Caroline, you have no right to be so hot when you start making out. I about died. But I also love you being bffs. And Tyler being like 'Elena, doesn't matter if when you kissed him he was more dead than alive jsyk' XD
7b. TYLER'S MOM ALSO HAS NO RIGHT TO SHOOT AT CAROLINE. JUST DON'T OKAY.
8. Aaand MATT HAS A STORYLINE.
I feel as if it's the most shocking thing that happened this episode. Also, JEREMY DEFINITELY SEES GHOSTS. It could go well. I like them getting stoned together. Also I just like Matt doing something, period. Also nngh Jeremy growing up nice. (I shouldn't say it since the actor was born a month before me, but whateeever.)
9. My feelings on Klaus keep on being along the lines of 'get the fuck off my show and leave my favorites alone, they don't need to be any more fucked up than they are already'. I'm doing it wrong, am I? He's creepy tho, can't say anything about it.
10. Damon looks so very lovely in blue. And I'm very happy he didn't trash the guitar, but I see improving. Meaning: taking out your anger on objects and not on people randomly driving on the highway is the good way to go. Come on Damon, there's still hope for you. Then again as stated before Stefan was making him look thoroughly well-adjusted. Who'd have thought that.
11. Oh, btw, Damon/Stefan meeting mirroring the one in the pilot? GOOD WORK, WRITERS.
12. Ian's new hair is delicious. IAN GETTING AROUND NAKED IS AS DELICIOUS. YEAH WELL once I didn't watch this show for the plot. (And now I do, but I can still appreciate, y'know.)
13. Elena please stay forever like you are even if I wish I had your faith in people.
14. Also WHUT, do people really have parties like that in the real world? O___O I've been to similar parties just for coming of age birthdays which are usually a huge thing, but seriously? O__O every year THAT? I'm impressed. I'm not even sure I'd know the amount of people necessary to fill all that space. #random
15. In short: WHEN IS NEXT WEEK and PLEASE HAVE TYLER RESCUE HIS NEW GIRLFRIEND OR SOMETHING. Mrs Lockwood, I do not like.
Phew. OH, DELICIOUS SHOW YOU'RE BACK :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD lol two years ago I wouldn't have enjoyed this one tenth as much. Keep on being awesome.
