Okay so, uh, anyone who likes some angst would be up for betaing my dc_dystopia fic?

Warnings: violence and then some violence, PTSD (both of them are WWI veterans) - includes some flashbacks to war scenes, one main character is permanently/heavily disfigured/scarred (half of his face is missing), minor characters dying left and right (because main characters are hitmen and have to kill in mostly cold blood most of the time). Blood on people's hands (literally and metaphorically). Mentions that both main characters had fleeting suicidal thoughts in the past.

Summary: 1921: both Dean and Castiel are WWI veterans meeting by chance at an hospital. Dean, who couldn't find a better employment and is trying to put his brother through college, works for an alcohol smuggler (Crowley) for whom he does small/dirty business. After Castiel helps Dean with his current assignment, he ends up working alongside him for good. Neither of them is completely fine with it but when the only thing you're trained to do is kill people, there's not much of a choice. Boardwalk Empire-inspired AU.

Basically: if you watch Boardwalk Empire and you know who Jimmy and Richard are you probably understood where this is going, even if apart from how they meet and other random details I haven't followed the BE plot much. If you don't watch BE then it probably doesn't change anything anyway. It's around 13k and I'd need it back before the 17th which is my posting day - any takers? Thanks in advance! ♥
