Title: And Love Is Not a Victory March
Rating: light R
Pairing: Sawyer/Juliet
Words: 1700
Summary: The fourth, the firth, the minor fall and the major lift. It’s translated for piano, but it’s pretty much the same. Not so secret chord, and Sawyer figures it wouldn’t please God that much.
Spoilers: up to the S4 finale.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine, the song is Leonard Cohen's and Jeff Buckley's I guess, I'm poor, don't sue me.
A/N: Queen [livejournal.com profile] slybrunette at [livejournal.com profile] lostsquee asked for fic inspired by music, at which I very much am glad to comply, since it's exactly what I usually do. But since lately I've been all Springsteen and I figured it wouldn't make much difference and that I could use a break, please accept my meager offering based on Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah, to download here if needed. Also, it'd be my first try at the pairing so please go easy on me *lays at Queen's feet with apologies for the delay*.

It’s all semantics shit anyway; it takes a preposition to change an entire meaning and he is well-read enough to think he knows the difference between loving someone and being in love with them. )

I blame this on [livejournal.com profile] lenina20 only ♥. I wouldn't have even thought about it otherwise. I really am so not sure about it (and hell, where is that part of me that once wrote a complete threesome in Italian without chickening out? Well, seems like it's asleep *kicks it*) but I'm sure that the finale will make this seem completely AU so well, here we go.

Title: Are Birds Free from the Chains of the Skyway?
Pairing: every possible combination of Sawyer/Juliet/Desmond
Rating: R. Probably the less detailed threesome you ever read.
Disclaimer: Sure as hell they're not mine.
Word count: around 2300
Spoilers: For Cabin Fever.
Summary: Sawyer knows that for Desmond and Juliet this island is nothing short than a prison. He understands them; he knows what it feels like.
A/N: Won third place at [livejournal.com profile] lostfichallenge #73, freedom. Also using for [livejournal.com profile] 10_shakespeare, "Can one desire too much of a good thing?". The title comes from Bob Dylan's 'Ballad in Plain D' and it's kind of relevant. The title, not the song, that is as far from this as it could get. Half written in yesterday's lectures' pauses, because I clearly can't do anything else.

So, it’s the three of them and they’re lost. Simple as that. )

Since the Des/Claire confrontation is kind of ditched right now and nothing else I should do wants to cooperate, I'll go with exorcising the last episode.

Title: Solitude Standing
Pairing: Jack/Juliet
Rating: PG13
Disclaimer: ppfff. If Lost was mine I wouldn't have needed to write this because what happened in episode 4x10 wouldn't have happened.
Word count: 1908
Spoilers: Up to 4x10.
Summary: Six months after a submarine took her away from home and to another place she came to hate with all of herself, she realized that it was either living by three rules and sticking to them or renounce definitely to the idea of going back.
A/N: for [livejournal.com profile] 12_stories #3, rules. And because I needed to exorcise last episode for real. The ending is probably never going to happen but well, I said I wanted to exorcise. And Juliet is better for him than Kate is anyway. Title stolen from a Suzanne Vega song after one hour trying to find one.

Juliet, when accepting Ben's offer, didn’t realize that she would have broken all of those three rules because of Jack. )

Title: The Devil's Right Hand
Rating: PG13
Characters: Danielle, Kate, Sawyer, Boone, Charlie, Shannon, Michael, Locke, Jack, Juliet, Sayid
Word counting: 1100.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine, even if all of this stuff happened ;)
Spoilers: Up to The Other Woman.
Summary: Eleven guns-related drabbles.
A/N: For the picture prompt, day 7, at [livejournal.com profile] lostsquee (the pic with the gun). This is one of the weirdest things I've ever done and I still think I'm not any good at drabbles but it wanted to go like this *shrugs*. Blame Steve Earle and Johnny Cash for the title. I really should stop listening to music at the gym.

He’s in trouble and it’s a damn sorry one. But that gun that put him there, it won’t get him out. )

Title: That's How It Goes Down Here Below
Rating: PG13
Characters: Sawyer, Desmond, Charlie, Bernard, Michael and quite some others
Word counting: many. I split it in two for a reason.
Disclaimer: Lost is not mine and it's based on someone else's story. See A/N ;)
Spoilers: For S4.
Summary: Five unlikely people gather to play poker.
A/N: this is my entry for the Fanom as Canon challenge at [livejournal.com profile] charlielives, where the target is to write a fic based on someone else's story. This one was supposed to be about the card game in Drowning Your Sorrows By Land and By Sea by [livejournal.com profile] elliotsmelliot, except that it kinda... uhm.. grew beyond it. So, the card game still is the center of it but there's quite a lot of other stuff first. I sincerely hoped I've not messed anything up. And if you didn't read the original story DO IT because it's absolutely wonderful and gorgeous and I love it like woah. Of course, thanks so much to [livejournal.com profile] elliotsmelliot for allowing me to go with this, I really hope it doesn't clash with your ideas about the on-island story ;) title stolen from a song I had on rotation while writing it and it kinda fit. Uhm, I hope I didn't get anything wrong with poker terms. I shouldn't have, but if I did, please tell me ;)

Dawn was less than an hour ago and Sawyer knows that no one is going to join him for at least another half of a hour. That’s fine. He has come to appreciate some time alone knowing that he really isn’t. )

Title: Come As You Are
Characters/Pairing: Jack/Juliet
Rating: PG really
Disclaimer: Not mine, never were, never will.
Word count: around 2900
Summary: for [livejournal.com profile] 12_stories #1, colour. You don’t understand why and how you ended here in the first place; the only thing you can be sure of is that hers is some of the worst cooking you ever tasted in your life, but strangely, you find it comforting. Because it’s the proof that she isn’t just as perfect as she seems and that her facade is just as fake as you thought.
Spoilers: General S3 and The Other Woman.
A/N: This is my (very) belated birthday fic for [livejournal.com profile] lenina20, who wanted Jack/Juliet and I gladly comply ;) I realize there isn't nothing new really but I hope you like it nonetheless! Uhm, apart from the fact that I've gone with the dreaded second person POV, nothing that interesting to say and nothing that wasn't in canon. With which I hope I didn't mess involuntarily. Title stolen from Nirvana, but that song has nothing at all to do with this whatsoever. And now I'll stop and just post the thing.

The first time, you see her through green lens, though they're not properly lens; it’s a glass wall between you and her and a green, artificial, fake light which is the only proper source of illumination in the room. To you, she looks as fake as that light is. )

Changed layout again. All last episode. And I think this one's going to last *loves madly all the people in there*

Then, before I head out for stuff, meme!
I totally stole this one from [livejournal.com profile] bobbinrob because it was waaay too awesome. I didn't edit a thing and some of them are probably crap, but there are a couple I'm pretty okay with. And hell, how are you supposed to write something coherent with Love Me Do?

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

Of course, I did Lost.

Ten sorta drabbles, in order: Charlie/Claire, Sawyer, Kate, Charlie, Jack/Sawyer, Desmond/Penny, Sawyer (S/K implied), Juliet, Boone (implied Boone/Shannon), Sayid (sorta angst Sayid/Shannon) )
